By accessing and using SpellingMeow ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SpellingMeow is an AI-powered educational application designed to assist parents and children in creating, practicing, and marking spelling exercises. The app utilizes artificial intelligence for text-to-speech, marking handwriting, and generating syllables and meanings.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. AI Generation and Accuracy

While SpellingMeow utilizes advanced AI models to generate syllabus, meanings, and perform marking, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in all generated content. Parents are encouraged to review AI-generated lists and automated marking results for their children.

5. Acceptable Use

You are responsible for the images and content you upload. You must not upload images containing sensitive, offensive, or copyrighted material that you do not own. The App may not be used for any unauthorized commercial purpose.

6. Third-Party AI Services

SpellingMeow uses the following third-party AI service providers to process your data:

• MiniMax and DeepSeek (People's Republic of China) — OCR word extraction and word enrichment.
• Google Cloud Text-to-Speech (Google LLC, United States) — audio pronunciation of spelling words.

By creating an account and using SpellingMeow, you acknowledge and explicitly consent to your data being processed by these third-party services and their respective jurisdictions. We maintain agreements with all providers ensuring your data is not used for model training.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, mascot artwork, and software code within SpellingMeow are the intellectual property of Bilibala Shadowpaw Limited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SpellingMeow or Bilibala Shadowpaw Limited be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the App or reliance on AI-generated content.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
