We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. We utilize Google Firebase for secure data storage and authentication. Your data is shared with the following third-party service providers strictly to operate the App:

• MiniMax and DeepSeek (headquartered in the People's Republic of China) — for OCR word extraction from worksheet photos and AI word enrichment (syllables, meanings, example sentences).
• Google Cloud Text-to-Speech (Google LLC, United States) — for generating audio pronunciation of spelling words.

Handwritten images submitted for marking are sent to MiniMax via secure API calls strictly for evaluation and are not publicly shared. We maintain service agreements with all providers ensuring your data is not used for third-party model training.

4. International Data Transfers

By using SpellingMeow, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by servers or service providers located outside your country of residence, including in the People's Republic of China (MiniMax, DeepSeek) and the United States (Google Cloud TTS, Firebase infrastructure). We take reasonable steps to ensure that all overseas recipients handle your data in accordance with applicable privacy standards.

5. Children's Privacy

SpellingMeow is designed to be used by children under the supervision of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information directly from children without parental consent. Parents manage the child profiles and all data associated with them.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide the learning services described above. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data (word lists, spelling history, child profiles, and usage records) at any time by contacting us at support@bilishadowpaw.com. Upon verified request, we will delete your data within 30 days.
